these days i am all for dyno breaking in, just because it gives you so much more control on engine loading and heat cycle. Sitting at a stop light just out of your garage or being held up by slow traffic / speed cameras is not going to do much good to ring sealing....
10-15 @ full throttle pulls, increasing max rpm each time, change your oil, and you're set. make sure to use mineral for that, then switch to synth.
