copper washers and domed nuts on F2 heads
« on: April 08, 2014, 11:52:19 AM »
Hello all.
I've searched through the forum and I'm a bit confused.
I am reassembling an CB750 F2 engine and I have 4 copper washers and 4 domed nuts for the cylinder studs. I've read that these ones go on the 4 studs which are closer to the cam chain tunnel (which should be 1, 2, 3 and 4 on my picture), but in other post I've read that are 5, 6, 7, 8 in the tightening sequence (my picture is the tightening sequence  from the factory book). So, could you light a candle? Which are exactly the studs in which I should put the domed nuts and copper washers according to my picture?
Thank you.

I'm at this stage of my build, too.
Per your picture, 5,6,7,8 are the correct ones.
You would have put o-rings on these studs before installing the cylinders.
