Help me figure out what I got, please
« on: April 06, 2014, 07:13:18 pm »
Hey all, I'm in a delima! I purchased this 72 750k sohc motor and it has a hole in the cases from the chain, took it apart and low and behold... It's got an 836,hi performance cam, yoush super rods, the motor also has a set of heavy duty studs down through it. My question to u is .... The cam has the letters stamped in the end that read k/h D anyone know what cam and any info on it? Also I'm thinking I better take a look at the crank... With any luck the crank might be a high-performance crank. What should I look at to determine if the crank was worked on or even replaced with a hi performance one? Can anyone help me out with this one??

There were some cam threads with specs listed in this section.
