Update 5-17-14 - today Trevor (alias hoodellyhoo) and I loaded up 2 1975 400F's he is going to sell. (see pic) One has a title and runs. The other will be a parts bike. If interested send him a PM. That took the morning. In the afternoon I put the tire back on the 350 after sanding down the drum and pads. The ends of the pads had some kind of cut into them ... looked intentional. That is why it was grabbing so hard. Finished installing the tank, new fuel lines and added no ethanol regular and she started right up. Had to adjust the idle, but she ran real nice. Put some Sea Foam in the tank and took it on a 40 mile ride. Noticed I will need some better fuel line clamps. Plus I will need another float bowl gasket. I changed one out earlier as it was cut. The other looked fine, but must be worn. She purred right along at 55MPH. Had it up to 70MPH and she never missed a beat. Runs like a 6,500 mile motor. Clutch feels excellent and shifting very smooth. She is a fun little runner for sure. Still need to replace the fork ears and fork covers with NOS parts I was able to find. Here is a pic of the 400's we picked up today. The last pic is after I got back with the 350 today. I'll get some better pics in the sun tomorrow. On a side note, I have to thank member grcamna2 (Bill) for the help and parts he provided for me. He also sold me a nice set of OEM mufflers for this bike which will be installed soon.
