Throttle Question cb750f
« on: April 12, 2014, 04:29:01 pm »
Hey everybody,
I know its common to have a throttle thats hard to twist on a cb750f because of the beefy spring but my throttle is only hard to twist right at the beginning of acceleration. its hard to explain but when twisting the throttle wide open its easy but right when first twisting its hard to open. if that makes sense? This is causing it to be hard to take off in first gear without a stumble. know what I mean?

And make sure nothing is interfering with the cable pulley...if it has one.
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

I have replaced the cable twice and lubed it. Adding the lube helped it a little but it is still stiff in the beginning of the twist.

A routing problem?

+1

What year? I can check my 75/76 schematic and describe the routing but not until this weekend.
