I need key# T3645
« on: April 14, 2014, 04:53:16 PM »
I lost the key for my switch and don't want to spend $13 on Ebay to get 1) new one.
I'd like to ask any of you who has this key if you would have a copy made from it and then sell it to me ?
     PM's welcome                          Thanks,   :)

Go to a locksmith or keymaker and have one cut.....

Now we're talking at least $25  I think I'll just keep asking on here for now.

I only want a copy from one of you members; MCRider(Ron) helped me once before w/ a key and I know someone here may help again.I have this extra switch that i want to restore and sell w/ a key. No hurry. I'm sure I can wait for one from one of you nice folks rather than go commercially w/ an original.

                                      Thanks, Bill  ;)

Do you know a locksmith who can make a copy for you? When I tried making one, no one seemed to have a correct size blank for these unfortunately. I ended up buying a new ignition switch with two keys, and a nos key for the fork lock for $13 shipped on ebay.

edward,
There are some local locksmiths here who have the blanks,it's a common one for old Honda's.I'd just like to borrow one from someone 'far away...'  ::) so they won't be concerned about it;send me the key & I'll send your key right back.
MCRider-Ron is my reference for trust;I sent his Original(spare he had for his 305) right back within 3 days when I did a similar switch restore.

That's the problem I had.  I just did an ebay search and the key I needed popped up.

Yeah,there's a few on there I've seen.
I wouldn't mind saving $10 and I'll just wait until someone will loan me one. I can make $10 go a long way(and if you believe that I'll sell you some pyrite  ::) )and hope someone here has one, eventually.

I bought aan nos key from Oklahoma Honda Suzuki for $10 that was for a '74 cl 450. They said they had several different old key patterns.

They are on SoonerRoad in OKC just south of 29th street.
