78k 8 signal removal.

Im taking off the lollipop front signals to go with something else...when I loosen the bolt and start to pull them off, they stop...

Any ideas?

There isn't anything to it, to put it in the manual. Completely remove the 6 x 35 hex bolt. Use a flat screw driver to loosen up the arm a little, slightly and carefully pull the gap apart a touch more. Pull off (provided the wires are disconnected).
If you take the signals off but leave the front ears on (i.e., lamp holders), it looks rather silly. But, I guess, everyone has a different taste.
