CB750F with GSXR750 Front End
« on: July 09, 2014, 01:49:26 PM »
Hey there!

Can anyone point me in the right direction for some information on this swap?  I saved a doomed 75 CB750F from certain death and have since been able to start piecing together parts for the build I hope to do. I have another 75 that I am restoring, but for this one I want to go wild.

I have acquired a '06 (I THINK) GSXR750 front end (minus wheel) and had been planning to mate this to my 750. I have seen this done a number of times but I am having the darndest time piecing together the steps to take for this (especially step 1 being what do I need the machine shop to make me).

Any input is valued!

Thanks!

-Chris

Devin has custom hubs machined to swap into fit the stock dimensions from the GSXR but still run spokes. He also offers top clamps, or a new adjustable triple to allow you to select 1 of 3 different offsets.

He's got a number of ready-to-go parts to make this swap as bolt-on and bulletproof as possible. Even sells the tapered bearings and replacement stems.

If I weren't on the other side of the country, I would immediately buy you both a beer.  Thank you!
