Nothing at all mate, nothing at all. I didn't realise we needed to make valid points in this thread? I've got some streamers you can have for the handle bars too, they're also free.

For a moment it looked like you are blaming me for previous owner's adaptations, are you sure you are grown enough to interact with adults?

Didn't know we still had any adults left around here. My point could have also been been that I didn't come on to your thread and bag your motorbike out with inane bull#$%*. But I figured that might have been a bit lost on you... anyway, enough about me, let's talk about you some more.

Noddy, what has been done to 70cb750's bike was a big trend in the '70's.  Most cheap 750's found today, in the U.S., look something like this.  What you intend to do with your cb750 is an infinitely less popular trend...but just another trend none the less.  So, based on how much you appreciate the look of 70cb750's bike(guessing not much), it's pretty easy to extrapolate how completely retarded your bike is gonna look in 30 years, let alone 2.
If it works good, it looks good...

I've just scored a good K2 rolling chassis that I can install the 836cc engine into, so I still get to put a perfectly good CB750 back on the road, while I watch your progress. Cheers, Terry. ;D
Excellent news mate, I hope that means you can concentrate on doing your thing, the way you want to, and stop wasting your time re-iterating your opinions over and over again here...I get it, you're very knowledgable so your opinions are clearly the only ones that matter. Is there an official place for your subjects to kneel? Some kind of temple? Or some kind of particular direction I should face? It's the direction one isn't it? As long as we're looking at everything the same as you we're all good.

C'mon now Noddy

Get with the program mate.
Didn't anyone tell ya?
We didn't just come here for a haircut.  ;D

If I was you
I'd be worried about me.

At least he's funny over at DTT.... ;D  In case you didn't know numb nuts, that frame has a frame kit, its designed to make working on the top end in the bike possible without having to pull the engine, lots of bikes here have then and i know of at least 4 different versions. I hear most antiseptic creams help with butt hurt.... 8)

Well that's pretty cool, I wasn't aware of that. Look at that, some constructive, educational input! I've just had pick myself up off the floor... but don't worry, I've got some cream for that too.

You know that Miley Cyrus is popular too, right? Doesn't make it good... Is my bike standing for election? Trying to sell platinum records? What the #$%* do I care about what's "popular"?

There we go, fixed this thread right up again.

Goodness Noddy,

even when people are trying to help, you can't resist taking a swipe at them. And you have done that to a lot of good guys here, ones that are very knowledgable and inventive and who certainly have my respect and admiration. Do what you want with your bike, it is yours, but take it easy with the vitriol, please.
Here endeth the sermon, go in peace.

Yep, fair point there Kev. I was generally commenting on the farce that this thread has become, but you're right, Retro helped me out there (whilst still calling me names, or alternatively asking if I knew someone named numb nuts... punctuation can be important sometimes...but I digress), he did help, and I do genuinely thank him for it.

Peace would be delightful.

These exchanges got me to thinking, a rare event indeed unless drink and girls are involved. No I am here in VFourfreak mansion pondering Australian culture, and how much I have learnt from the members here that I would like to call mates.
Previously, coming from a sheltered upbringing, my knowledge of Aussie culture was limited to the crocodile Dundee movies and some very iffy TV series. I have been brought right up to date by the lads on this forum, and so for instance I now know that a "Map of Tassie" is not a cartographic aid to navigation. But it is really the ability to be concise and succinct that I appreciate, and when the Aussie approach to life was summarised for me by a member who will remain nameless in order to spare his blushes, I had to print it out on an appropriately sized piece of paper and now I carry it around with me in my French man's man bag. And so in times of lousy strife or when I have to deal with the ex (usually the same times) I take out that postage stamp and read the four words printed on the back "Harden the fcuk up". Thank you lads, it bears me through many an off day.

Funny you should say that dave. Knowing little about Steampunk, I decided to educate myself on the topic, using young Mr Wales' font of knowledge. To my alarm I discovered :

"Steampunk also has a growing following in the UK and Europe. The largest European event is "Weekend at the Asylum", held at The Lawn, Lincoln every September since 2009."

How queer is that ?
