Robert Stevenson?  Isn't he an American baseball player?!

No, he's the guy that wrote Treasure Island....aarrrggh...I didn't say that did I.  Now I suppose someone will get the idea for PiratePunk.  Clip a couple of stuffed parrots onto the handlebars and ride with an eyepatch.  Although if it included lusty wenches it might have some appeal.

Did the Steampunk craze die off already?

We can only hope...maybe they will lose interest in motorcycles and take up something else.

Let's see some wrench turning, man.  You must be chomping at the bit with your house move.

Let's see some wrench turning, man.

I told my 3.5 yr old I was going to teach him how to wrench. Then he said he wanted to teach himself. Thankfully my #8 bolts didn't get all buggered up :)

No one's more keen than me, I assure you. I'm doing some bits and bobs in the background, lots of things on order, figuring out what I need etc. Hopefully when the move happens I'll have pretty much everything I need and I can get stuck right into it... assuming we don't buy a fixer-upper, then it could take a bit longer...

youll have to have a really long electric cord to ride around the block!

Maybe this would be even more appropriate and solve the cord problem.  I think you put coal in these.  Iron, coal, and steam...what more could a steampunker want. ;D At least these are real and not poser.

I may be a bit slow on the uptake here, certainly my teachers used to say that a lot. But if I understand correctly, this build cannot start until after the house move, and the new house has not yet been chosen ??

This could take some time methinks.

yeah I think it's a bit lame to jump on Noddy for the pace of the bike build...it's only been a month or so.

As far as the style...well that's fair game. ;D

I may be gone for a few days.....I am planning on sailing my boat to find the end of the earth. ;) 754 may scoff at it but the rest of you Flat Earthers wish me luck...send money if you can. ;D

P.S. Did that sound suitably steampunk-ish ?

In case your factor is waylaid by bandits  could you also dispatch a letter of draught from your bank by Post Chaise.  Speed is of the essence  as I must sail with the tide if I am to make the Channel by midnite.

If you could dispatch a letter of draught from your bank by Post Chaise it would be most appreciated.

Let me have, Dear Sir, your bank account details and I will have it effected in a trifle, that is to say three short tugs on a lamb's thing.

Sir Kev
