Skipping down the road merrily ....look at me.....look at me.....
I know! I'm such an attention-whore aren't I!? I mean, I spend most of my days just ramming my opinions down other people's throats.. daily.. I mean, I just can't get enough of
everyone knowing exactly what
I think about anything that I don't agree with... and GGEEEEEEZZZ do I bang on about it!? Personally, I don't think it ever gets boring...
Sigh... Yup, I posted it on Hondatwins first, as it was a Honda twin. And yes, they were a great forum to be a part of, helpful, considerate and just gosh-darn nice folks, even when they didn't agree with what I was doing. Almost like real grown-up humans. Posted it later on DoTheTon as a few guys at Honda Twins suggested some people over there might be interested. That is the sum-total of where
I've posted it.
So what is it that affects the artistic judgement of Honda Twin owners...is it the vibration?
Maybe they're just not narrow-minded old codgers who need to post up pictures of girls in bikinis on other people's build threads because they've got nothing better to do? Hard to be sure though. Maybe you can tell me what
you think? I'm in the dark a bit on that.
Steampunk is dead
Alas, so are my rims.
#$%*. Was that some kind of motorcycle reference?
Though the rusted out spokes gave me a cool idea. I was planning on powder-coating or painting the new spokes black, but now I'm thinking a light surface coating of rust, then hit it with some Penetrol, will look better and suit the "patina" theme of the bike.
"Oh. My. God. But Noddy, Honda never did that, and Terry or Retro surely wouldn't do it either, it clearly
must be 'wrong'". I hear you say.
"What about the weakening of the spokes?" I hear at least someone with a modicum of insight might add somewhere between the baying crowds...
Well, perhaps I can go a heavier gauge spoke to counter it? Ot perhaps a light surface coat of rust probably won't make a huge difference? Though, you know what, I am actually open to opinions on that one...
Ok folks, enough about me again, back your regular scheduled programming... I'm hoping they'll stop putting re-runs on soon...
