Were those the ones from maduncle?  If so, you did a very nice job with them.

They were indeed, and thanks!

Great work there - but do the lights have that authentic candle light flicker? Or the standard Honda flicker?

Heh, neither, flicker-free zone! I'm going full futuristic lighting for this one.

Most people would've withered under the scrutiny of this thread's beginning remarks.  To stick to your vision, and to carry out that vision in every part I've seen so far is very admirable.

Thanks mate (and everyone else who has echoed this sentiment). Can't let a few old fuddy-duddies ruin our fun, eh?

I agree but...

Hahaha! I concur, there's still a long way to go...

Nice work Noddy. I bought myself a 1966 Valiant in the last couple of months, so have spent a bit of time tinkering with that and on the Hemi forum, but glad to be back here now and seeing your progress.

A buddy of mine had that generation. Not the sexiest car but it didn't have a Hemi to compensate.

273 two barrel with the torquflite. It's the VC which is the model immediately before they introduced the VIP designation, but has all the VIP type trim.

Great to own, but it just means I have to split, time, money, and effort from my F1 project. So now the F1 will be done more slowly, which means I get to ride it more often.

Sorry to hijack the thread Noddy...promise no more Valiant talk.

I won't speak for Noddy, but I'd offer this recommendation: he should rename his thread to "The Valiant Thread" given his perseverience through the harassment early on. Which makes your '66 very relevant.

Valiant effort indeed!

An exceptional use of words there calj737...yes, a very valiant effort indeed, Noddy.

Pretty sure it hasn't taken anyone 16 pages to prove their bona fides.

Heh, I see what you did there...

Sorry to hijack the thread Noddy...

Still makes me laugh every time someone says that on this thread!

So, not a whole lot to add, but I have been plugging away at the tail light... and all my engine bits are stuck in customs ATM, but at least they're in the country. This is where all the silly questions will start I'm sure...

Sounds like a great business name Noddical Customs
