Quick question regarding stripping 350f to the frame
« on: April 20, 2014, 02:49:01 PM »
Hi I am currently on my re-re-build of my cb350f and stripping it to the frame.  I have everything off except all the stuff connected to the steering head pipe ( handlebars, front shocks, front wheel, etc)

Do I have to do what the manual says and remove the front wheel, then suspension, then handlebars before removing the steering head pipe or can I skip the the steering head pipe and pull the rest off as a whole?
]

thanks

james

You should be able to loosen the top clamp, remove it, then everything below slides out. Take care, it will be heavier than you expect and come sliding out quickly if the lower end is no longer held up.

Or remove the top steering nut and loosen the top two clamps and remove it a unit.
