To close out this thread...I spoke to the owner a week ago about this 1970 CB350 which was 5 hours away in MN. They were not willing to come down from $2950 so I passed. Then 2 days later found the 72 CB350K4 which I had looked at earlier had come down $600 in price. It was only 20 minutes from my house. It is now in the shop. There is already another thread on the 1972 bike. Thanks for all the info guys...

I hope you're able to replace those New huge tires on it for stock(3.00x18 Fr. & 3.50x18 Rr. or 90/90x18 fr. & 100/90x18 Rr.)size rubber;those that you have on there will make the bike handle way too slow and then it'll wear out the center only in short order.The IRC tire co. makes a GS11AW in your stock sizes that are excellent.

Will do at some point Bill...am in no hurry to change the tires yet. Have more important issues to address. He said they were installed 3 years ago and do not have much over a few hunderd on them. They have real nice tread and no cracking. I had not noticed they were bigger. I will have to let you know what size he put on there. I think Stev-o mentioned that too.

Just checked and on the back he has 1.10/90-18.
Front is 1.00/90-18

I read that 'hate' review Stev-o,maybe try finding some other reviews to see how some other 'every day riders' like them.I've been riding them for years for touring & every day riding(not street racing)on Vintage bikes and never had any problems.I even rode them through 34 degree rain and when it was getting colder too on my CB350 last Oct. and they held up great.The tread design helps get rid of excess rain and they do have an 'OE' style tread on them;they did come stock on a few Vintage bikes New in the past.I admit the tread is a little harder than a more 'sport oriented' tire and they'll last a good while.You might want a softer rubber compound on your RD350.I think there are other tire manufacturers who make 3.50x18 Rr. & 3.00x18 Fr.'s I wouldn't recommend Duro's,I bought a few and ran them for about 2000 miles and talk about wobbles.The tires were molded 'out of round'...I got'em from Ebay so maybe they were defective '2nd's'

How about the Conti K's? I run those on my 750's and like the feel and grip. However, I am not an aggressive rider either.

Johnie, Those are OE for the old BMW's and I like'em;very good longevity w/ good grip.

Certain didnt mean to offend, I just always read reviews before I buy tires. That forum popped up and there were quite a few guys complaining about them.

Correct, dont need race rubber, just want a vintage look on the RD.  There are not many tires that fit that bill in a 3.25-18".

I think I will go with this Bridgestone....

That Amazon tire looks just like the OE style I remember;try asking them for a date code before purchasing.I know the fresher the tire the better.

crusty old squared off god knows what...like I say the damn thing won't stay running, so I have not replaced it...I know what you mean though and would probably get a Dunlop tt100 or something for the cb350.  If you are not wanting performance tires for your rd, it ain't running right!
