The fender is cut just before and after the bracket so the fender is in place adding the same stiffness as before(I think). I am thinking of getting a Tarozzi fork brace as that is probably much stiffer and better than original.
The project is further along today, but I am filling in what has been done up to date!

I added a chrome list on the edge of the tank and seat, to keep a classic feel.
This is how the bike stands today! As you can see the rearsets are missing, the brackets are on the way from Cognito moto so that is next!
