Hi guys, finally picked up the CB650 I bought the other week and spend some time looking at it and trying to make some plans which has given me some questions/recommendations

best place for quality clip ons at a reasonable price? same for levers

Is it possible to get a rear light/number plate set up like this (Ebay Item no. 150854079978) that isn't an LED?

Are there any Norton/Triton Tank options that are a fairly straight swap which don't cost the earth?

Any one know of any single clocks/gauges that act as a speedo and a tacho but don't look as modern as this? (Ebay item no. 260852536224)

Sorry about the links, haven't posted enough yet

Cheers Ross

Why don't you want an LED tail light? They're much brighter and far more visible. And draw less power from your bikes aged charging system.

The digital tach/speedo units are all expensive. They have tons of internals, sensors, LCD screens etc. Try Speedhut and see if you can locate a unit you prefer. But the pricing will be similar.

Cheaper clip-ons might try Vortex. Dime City has them, as well as other vendors.

I don't mind using the LED set up its just I think it might look too modern for the look I'd be going for on the bike if that makes sense

I see your point, but I'd rather be "seen" than worry about being "looked at". But you have a valid point. The shape of that light strikes me as modern anyway, perhaps something more "vintage" in its shape would better suit your aesthetic?

I think ill probably end up going for that style rear end set up, whether its that shape or not we'll see but i like how everything is incorporated into one unit keeping it all fairly clean at the back

What levers are around that have that retro look but don't cost a bomb, i like the ones that dime city do with the nissin m/c are there any cheaper alternatives?
