F**kin Tornado Season
« on: April 28, 2014, 05:12:31 AM »
I hope everyone is safe, especially the harder hit down in Arkansas. My daughter in Ozark Ark was in distress last nite as it was all happening and I know we have a lot of SOHC riders down there. My thoughts are with you guys and gals.

Im getting better at dodging them now. Last night one touched down in Quapaw OK and traveled to Baxter Springs KS with my new job in the intersecting path of it. No power at the plant and no access through the beaten up towns roads so no work today. Ill just stay home and be thankful I guess.

My thoughts are with my ex Joplin survivors. I saw pictures this morning taken last night in Joplin. The view point shows the continuing rebuilding from the tornado a few years ago with the tornado touched down in the distance. Kinda scary. I understand your fears. The evening Joplin was tore apart a few years ago I was keeping my family and pets safe in the closet while we listened to the windows shatter and the roof joists snapping upstairs. But it always could of been worse. We are here today to deal with the trauma of the past, and then heal. Some people aren't.

Be safe everyone..... Boats

Sorry Bill sometimes shareing with others isn't always the best idea.

On a different tangent, since starting this new job nearly a month ago I look at a 72 750 sitting at an abandoned fix it shop twice a day. It sits there on its center stand aimed at the highway just beggin for a new owner. Ill need to look through the debris piles now and hope for a reunion. Good bike too missing seat, tank, and side covers only. The engine is still sealed up tight too. Alas.......
