I'm getting ready to replace the badly rusted and crappy dual 2-to-1 stock exhaust on my K3 with a MAC 4-to-1 with the standard cone exhaust:

I'm also planning on replacing the air box with K&N pod filters for each cylinder:

Am I setting myself up for a nightmare carb adjustment scenario?  This is my first time performing this type of work, so any tips / tricks / advice is greatly appreciated!

It certainly can be done, but you are essentially having to tune to TWO changes.
If you ABSOLUTELY have to go to pods....do them last.
Add your MAC with your airbox on... and jet till its right.  ONLY when its right, (and you very may well say fk it and stick with the airbox at this point  ;D  ) add your pods, and start the jetting process over again...
Be ready to get good at removing and installing your carbs  ;)

Thanks for the input guys.  The exhaust has definitely gotta be changed out, so I'll do that first and get the carbs tuned properly.  Then I'll ruminate over adding the pods...
