Whoa! Pretty wild there, Frank. Everyone has there own likes and dislikes. While that Is pretty cool, myself, I'd prefer my '80 model, nearly stock (not much change to it) one.  ;)

I like the proportions.
On the Stocker I think they really cheaped out on a few elements.. Like the tank seams and motor mounts..

In 1978 I went to the Honda dealer convention held in Tokyo that year. The highlight of the new bikes was the CBX. They had us in an auditorium/theater and showed us press release movies of all the new products. After we had seen the DOHC 4's the last reveal came as a big surprise. The picture on the screen was a close-up of a single header pipe and then the camera panned right to the second pipe and then the third and then to the cam chain case. At that point we knew it wasn't another four. The camera continued on to the rest of the pipes one at a time. then the scene changed to a close-up of the rear tire tread. Up to this time there had been no sound but as I looked at the tire I heard the starter spin and then the engine fired and was brought up to a fairly high rpm and the tire we were looking at turned to blue smoke. It was a very impressive way to introduce the CBX.
