That's pretty cool Dreadstar..
I had a Ariel Square Four chopper in the 1960's with the Coors Lion logo on the tank.
Back then though..a lot of us got disenchanted with Coors..due to their PP record with hiring and treating minorities..Hispanics particularly. Joe Coors basically said that they were justified in paying them less..offering less benefits..because the "Mexican races were glad to get the work..compared to what they earned in their home countries". Several "minority" workers died working for Coors over the years..due to inadequate safety precautions. Interestingly..no white workers seemed to have the same problems(?)
I live about 40 miles up the road from where the Coors plant is..have for the past 40 years..almost. In all that time..I feel Coors has cleaned up their act considerably..but I still hesitate to drink their beer (do so occasionally..if that's all available).
In addition to Coors treatment of minority workers in past (believe they've merged with Molson nowadays)..the Coors family has always given considerable financial support to politicians like Nixon..Reagan..Bush..whom I've always voted against over the years.
So..just wanted to say that although I feel the Coors logo is pretty cool from objective standpoint..I've felt for many years that upon further understanding of what it signifies morally..I'd personally choose something else to put on my bike. Guess I just wanted to explain a little further..ventilate about love/hate relationship I've had with Coors products. Nothing personal.
Cheers..
