Bike won't turn off
« on: April 30, 2014, 03:20:54 PM »
I have a 71 CB750 K1. Went for a ride today and when I returned I turned off the key but it kept running and the neutral light stayed on. Any idea what that is besides getting a new ignition? In the mean time I hit the kill switch and disconnected the battery.

Possibly corrosion of the terminals (or terminal corrosion?), broken insulation creating a short, water ingress etc etc. I'd pull it apart and investigate before shelling out on parts.
