Gas Tank Art
« on: April 23, 2014, 10:11:27 PM »
A few weeks ago I saw a thread discussing artwork on gas tanks. I don't seem to be able to find it. I have just bought a 750F1 tank with art on it and would like to add it to the thread.

Took a little while to get some decent shots due to reflections but I think these will be acceptable.

Is there anything symbolic about depicting a left handed fiddle player?

Sad, I didn't see the tank art thread.
Like the wild custom paint of the 60's, and muraled keep-on-truckin' vans of the 70's, ours was an artistic style of the time. But I for one would love to see more of it, also there is some great paint on a bunch of the modern nostalgia Nitro Funnycars. But I may be biased there...  ::)
Modern Vinyl doesn't fit my definition of art.  8)
