 the hb1 went for £57,500 which was good money for a not very nice bike . it did look very good value later in the auction though when a brough made £253,500 .

Some good prices there, though I think the HB1 was actually a very very nice bike, but perhaps had a little too much patina! I see a very nice Vincent made 6 figures too. The really serious bikes are being sold privately however, I see John Chapman has acquired an MV-4 to go with his MV-3 ( and other beauties) now.

it wasn't that nice in the flesh , had the wrong forks , front calipers and master cylinder for a start
