Got my bike safetied, insured and plated.

Road it around the block a few times to make sure everything was ok. Burbled and backfired above 1/8th throttle.

Once I was satisfied it was running ok, yet a little hesitant and on all 4 i took it out on the highway for an italian tune up. Once i was off the highway the bike was much more responsive and had no hesitation. Pulled off the road to check everything again and i noticed my fins were oily, need to retorque the head I think. (rebuilt the motor recently) And my carb bowl o-rings didnt quite stay seated during my install and are leaking a bit, i need to drop the bowls and let the orings shrink back down and reinstall them for a good seal.

TL:DR italian tune-up cleared out throttle hesitation and discovered some post rebuild oil weepage.

  • WHAT?no gravy?
use a dab of instant super glue in the corners of the carb o rings if they aren't the shaped ones.

They are the shaped ones and they swole up from the gas and when I reinstalled the bowls they didn't quite lay flat.

Had to glue them originally gause they were a bit small (before the swole up)
