K1 petcock and fuel lines
« on: May 03, 2014, 02:10:19 AM »
I have looked at the parts fiche, the forum search function and google but cant find any answers. (the parts fiche shows two into four but doesn't show how)

I have a K1 with the twin outlet fuel petcock. Is it supposed to run with the two lines out of the petcock, each into two carbs via a splitter ie two into four? If so how long do the lines run?

Funny thing is I have it running with one into four with the second line out of the petcock blocked. It seems to be working ok for an untuned bike at this stage.

What is right? I am at the stage of trying to tune it with a carb sync and want to start on the right foot.

Thanks in advance.

Two lines out of the petcock, splits at carburetors.

Check the cock packing and inside if there is a flow problem.
