Hello from North Texas
« on: November 05, 2014, 07:00:35 PM »
Greetings everyone. I joined this forum because I'm looking for a piece of my past. Specifically a 1982 cb650 standard. I bought one new in high school and rode the fool out of it. Loved that bike. Now I would like to find another one. So if anyone is looking for a good steward of one of these great bikes that isn't going to chop it up, I'm your guy. In the meantime I will be here on the sidelines drooling.

Here is one in Plano.  Don't know how badly they cut the frame for that seat.

I saw a really nice one at Barber for $1400, sounded great, looked new, low miles.

That's a reasonable price Faux Fiddy. Wish I was there. I spent acouple of years looking for my '86 VFR750 and if it takes a while to find this piece of my past, so be it. They are great bikes and I will find the right one and give it a good home.
