Hi I'm new to this forum.  Just bought 1973 green cb500 in nice shape with ape hangers,which I'm converting back to stock.  I have a few other bikes ,old BSA A10 plunger, BMW r75/5 toaster and 97 Honda ACE 1100.I've had a few sohc's over the years and the 500/550 are my favorites,

Yes, I'm cleaning out the carbs, last owner let it sit for 4 years w/out draining gas.  Bought Honda carb rebuild kits on amazon for $10 each.
