Specifically looking for Hilborn for these 750's.. I already had all the pieces for a completed system, just had some damage to the cast injectors and the manifold was pressed in place so I'm gonna have Jim F weld them and had Hilborn make the new set for a N/A set up.

I'm going to play with modern injection on one of those new Cb1100's. I got plans for one of those things  ;D

TREY :  You can spend many dollars for a ticket with a lower number, but the payout for Street ET. will not cover your cost of the drive, fuel, entrance fee and food. A kid on a modern 600cc [ w/fi ] and him or her weight in leather 150 lbs. will be running you down at the big end. A few years back the PRO-STAR 600cc class was some of the best racers in the land = EDDIE - CHIP - JOHN - SHINE -  and they went on to be PRO-STOCK BIKE racers ....... as FRANK said 10:70 ET. would be the number, NO RED LIGHTS, under 5.10 reaction time, take a look as most times you will leave first !!!!

Good attitude for 2015 Trey. Fast never won an ET race but consistency has won championships. Your one priority at this first race is to have fun. The wins will come in time. Lookinf forward to seeing the smile on your face when you turn on the win light for the first time.

By the way, Jegs or Summit sells pocket size practice trees for less than $100. You can even buy the pig tail to connect to your handlebar clutch switch. There are also practice tree apps for your smart phone you can download for free and practice any time you want- check those out!!!!!!!!!!!

MORE CONSISTENT:  You need a shift light to be dead on the number !!!! = HOPE YOU HAVE ONE, other than spinning off the hit your numbers will be CLOSE TO THE same at the 330,660,1000 and the 1320'.................. keep those tickets to get some much needed data [ that I load in my ET BOX after every pass ], leave on the last yellow [ full bulb ] do-not RED LIGHT, seat time, win ticket with your side of the board lighting up to say " YOU WON " you will be HOOKED !!!!

I'm away from the house this morning but hoping to see the box when I get home and figure it all out. I finished tuning the bike this week. That open RC pipe sounds absolutely amazing. I can see the real difference between an accessory pipe like MAC and a performance pipe like the RC.

RIGHT Hand over the top, elbow up in the air= hang on you are going for a 1320' ride ............... SMILING with that win light and win ticket in your hand ! Trick # 2 go in last , they are looking at you side of the tree and have taken their eyes off of their side of the chess board.  That's why street racers do not like running on a tree at a track, they can red light with no loss.

TREY: Got a sound maker in Japan or one on the West Coast  = pull that race pipe and collector off and they can make you the exact same 4-1 racing system.  Sold many BUSA racing pipes over the pass years from this Japan maker of perfect pipes and never had a DYNO challenge from any of the other sound makers [ BROCK has great stuff made and is a OHIO born and raised  racer from the day ] but not for the SOHC.  Great to hear you got SHOCKS on your build, now you can squat and go with no pogoing on those bumps on the 1320'.

K5 looks and sounds like a real deal race bike. Shocks from Bill made a world of difference. I finished the tether kill switch and chain guard the other night too.

Hope your planning on coming down for the season opener POPS. Could sure use your vast experience as I begin my journey  ;D

I have everything set up for the air shifter except for a working shift button. None of mine seem to be able to hold air, guessing the O-rings are rock hard..

Still need to install my new coils, clutch, and cam chain tensioner before we head to commerce to practice

Trey, I'm glad I could help. We worked through it without missing a beat. About the only thing we now need to concern ourselves with is the length of the air line to the kill, versus the length of line to the air cylinder. You may have to either shorten or lengthen the line to the kill, to allow the bike to unload the motor just long enough for the air ram to shift the bike. Before you attempt to ride the bike and shift it with the shift, disconnect the cylinder from the shifter lever and press the air shifter button a few times. Listen carefully for the engine to stop momentarily as the air kill breaks the circuit going to the Dyna S plate. If you don't hear the engine die briefly, shoot me a text and we'll troubleshoot it further.

Good luck buddy and enjoy your full throttle shifts.

Look out Valdosta, the SOHC crew is on the way!!!!!!!!

Anyone else with an SOHC planning to come race with us??? Turbo D, where are ya man. Keith?? You've been quiet.  Speak up fellas. Don't let the young man show you up.

I may not be able to race but one day. I've got a big company meeting on monday afternoon so it would be best if left early sunday to get back home to rest.

As far as the new bike for Gladys, I don't think i'll have it ready for this race. I won't be getting the motor parts back from the machinist until tomorrow. Putting it together will take some patience, tolerances are very tight to get the compression i'm looking for so it'll be assembled at least 3 times to be sure nothing touches when its not supposed to- 1500cc's (85mm) takes time to get exactly right. We haven't gotten past the basic roller stage on the chassis. We've got to custom make some brake caliper mounts, make a set of wheelie bar and weld up some brackets. Lots to do on that one.

I'll be there on the Honda and Gladys will probably ride her bike in Pro ET. If not, i'll ride her bar bike.

Should be a fun weekend.

Lets make a point of all going up to the staging lanes and line up head to tail to make at least one time run. That should make a statement.!!!
