Topic: cb750 f2 choke mechanism

hey guys,

I'm just about finished with the rebuild of my stock F2 carbs.
I got them back togheter and all seems good but I just can't figure out how the choke spring should be assembled where the 2 come together.

Does anyone have a good picture or method how I can connect the 2 shaft together with the lever that runs to the bars?

just to be clear, I'm talking about this little bit right here:


the 4 open en close together so that is fine but how should I connect the lever so I can control them properly?

it looks as it should
your choke cable will attach to the fork as indicated in red in the picture.
as your choke lever on your bars is pulled, it will pull the fork upward, engaging the fast idle cam(@ the springs attached to the fork arm) and rotate the choke plates closed.

don't know what went wrong the 1st time but I've redone the choke part on the carbs and works fine now..
It wouldn't return the first time I tried so I thought I connected the spring wrong...
