Title pretty much says it, will the 77/78 750 carb to airbox boots work with a 72 750 K2? The part numbers are the same except for the middle three number (for model years??), just thought I'd ask to be sure.

I don't think they are compatible. The inlet stubs on roundtop carbs are 39mm IIRC, whereas the PD carbs are 42mm. Maybe they would clamp up, airleak on that side not so critical?
