Shock absorbers
« on: May 08, 2014, 07:17:58 PM »
There was an effort some time ago to organize an Ohlin shock buy for CB750K0-4 models - did anything happen with that? I'm looking at going with Hagon Nitros out of a lack of alternatives - I haven't been impressed with the other available marquees. Anybody got any news on that? I'm going to save my S&W Air Shocks for my "touring" CB750!

Öhlins really have shocks for the old CB750 SOHC?  I cannot find in their list on the website.
They did not have 1984 when Öhlin shocks were very popular among my friends with newer bikes produced at the 80's. That's why I bought Marzocchi AG Strada to my CB750K6-76

I have YSS on my 550, and they can supply what ever length you want, with springs to suit.  Also Work Performance can supply shocks for the 750.

Gday Jim, I still think you'll find there's no SOHC specific shock, the one i was going to use are made to suit the Boldor dohc models, i was going to move the rear shock mounts on the frame to retain the same ride height {longer shock}, and to match my wider swingarm, but I'm pretty sure there's no specific SOHC shock.... ;)   I would be happy to be corrected if thats not the case.. :D
