Some help with my charging system
« on: May 07, 2014, 10:04:33 PM »
Hi all, i'm trying to put back together the charging system and I need to know the name of the connector that goes from the rectifier to the wiring harness. I do not know what it is called:

I dont know if there is a specific name for the one connector.  Unless you have one lying around or can scavenge one of another bike your best bet is to replace both sides of the connector.  Check out this site: http://vintageconnections.com/

There are lots of ways to finish that off.  You will just have to replace both sides of the connector with something off the shelf most likely.

Good Luck!

The Generic term is a "block connector".  But there are thousands of variations.

The stock one was a "6 position, two row, Blade type".  That should be enough info to get the correct one from vintage connections.

I think you need the "MP6L Latching Set"  ...And the pins if you don't have those already.

I believe you are holding the starter solenoid.
