Yes indeed Gordon. I have always preferred a nicely padded and shaped seat.

Yeah like the naked wangs. Dont care much for the later loaded down models. Last year I got GW fever and was looking at a 1975 also Paul. It had bags and fairing added, but closer inspection even thought the frame vin# was a 75 model the engine had been changed out and now had a 77 engine plus half a dozen other things were not from a 75 model either.  I ended up finding a nice all original black 1977 GL1000 and just about to get it on the road ;)

Hey All,
A friend Ben helped me get the bike tonight.
He thought I got a good deal. I think I did also.
It has its issue's.

Anyone have a nice set of panels and false tank in Sapphire blue?

The guy I bought it from bought it rode for a couple months till the water pump crapped out that was 3 -4 years ago. he tried selling it a couple years ago no takers.
He said he didn't have a little bet before it broke. He is a HD guy say the Wing was too top heavy.

Not that I don't appreciate your 'other' one but dewd, that's a nice upgrade.
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

Thank's Jerry,
The front fender is a 78-79 so I need to swap a fender with someone. I bet I can make it look like new for very little. If I score some original color panels.

Well Paul IMO not to bad to work on, but more to it than my CB750's that's for sure. Less intense and more enjoyable for me to work the CB's ;D This Wang has caused the use of some 4 letter words and the rise in my blood pressure at times ::)

Look at the carb #s, I don't that those are the correct carbs. They should work fine.

The carbs are from a 76. I do have a set of 755a's to put on when I get to it.
