Hesitation at take off

What's causing my 77 Auto to die taking off. My accelerator is pumping fuel and timing is correct.

There is pumping fuel, and pumping enough fuel.

Dribble vs hefty shot. 

Probably in the details.
Limited information is a hindrance.  Maint. history?  All head pipes equally hot?  Spark plug deposit description?  Air filter or exhaust mods?

It does take a pretty good shot of fuel equally to all carb squirt nozzles. Did you check timing statically or use a timing light and verify that the advance unit is working. Mine was seized and the PO statically timed the bike and all looked good. The thing would idle fine but die and hardly get out of its own way. When I used a timing light it became obvious that it never advanced to the second set of marks. After repairing the advance all is much better.
