I was going through the parts of my CB550 and the gear shift spindle shaft end was worn out.  I need a replacement one.  On ebay, the sell ones that are $34 and the end that is worn out was replated.  Are these any good? OR should I just get an OEM used part.  I have not found anyone that sells new ones.  Any suggestions?

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of it's victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S.
