It was for sale. A guy out your way wanted to buy it. He just kept calling me saying "we are close on the price." Got tired of that and told him it won't leave the house unless "I" get my price.

Been over a week.  ;D In fact I'm getting ready to store it on the lift. Ducati upgrades will wait until Fall. Never got the Shop air condition.  :'(

Good for you. That's not negotiating.
You don't need games like that.

When I sold the Dream and CB 160 it was 3 hours dealing with that clown. He finally went to the Bank and borrowed off his credit card to complete the deal.

My that was a long day.

That was fun especially stopping to get a couple breakfast sandwiches. Right in the drive thru, put in glove box and go.

To much fun.  ;D

The Burgman 650 is(or at least 'looks') a Lot bigger than the 400 Burghy.
it also reminds me of a PC900.

Just going by what I have been told. Was going to look at a new AN400 but never made it there.

Ran errands again today including a grocery run. Threw 6 bags in there and took the long way home.  ;D

Averaging 39 mpg now but easy riding. Always did like the PC models.

I will but usually reserved for the CBX.  :)

Never really cared about mileage. Didn't buy it for that. Wanted something we can both ride and running errands. Fits the bill just fine.

Not that I have heard or read. Just joined a forum and did not see anything related to transmission problems.

The only issue I have read is the "dieseling" sound at idle. The early models had a fix from Suzuki as it was very loud. Mine has it but faint in sound and when warm. They call it this because it sounds like a diesel engine at idle but faint. The sound is from the transmission and it is not or has been an issue. Only at idle do you hear it.

Other than that there are some members with 70,000 plus miles on one. I love it and ran around town again yesterday mailing packages, picking up some lighting at Lowes and going to the Bank. Averaging 41 mpg.

As I get older and find larger bikes hard to handle I can see a new one down the road.

I've never heard of 'trunk space' like that on a 2 wheeler.

A few years back cruising down hwy396 near Bishop on my 1150RT going about 70mph, I could see in mirror what looked like a Sport bike coming up on me fairly fast. I was thinking gee wonder what that is, he passed me doing about 80-85, you guessed it a Burgman 650. I laugh and just let him go! Its all good.
thanks, Mark

An ex-motorcycle cop in his 60's rides one in my area.  He got it because he found a normal bike too difficult to handle with his various ailments.  Rides it like a frickin maniac!

You ask the strangest questions.  ::)

He!!, I don't know. Don't ride when it's windy.
