calling west texas riders

I will be driving from Matagorda to Odessa to pick up my new bike and ride it home i will have two days before i need to be in Corpus to make a concert then on home to Matagorda the question is where are some good spots to visit  between there and Corpus any help is appreciated

Ever been to Big Bend?

What bike are you getting??

no i havent been to Big Bend and the bike is an 87 Super Magna

Big Bend is a little out of the way.  A better idea would be to ride through the Hill Country. 

I could suggest some good roads if you plan to go that route.

the plan is to take two days to get to corpus so I have plenty of time to take in scenery. I havent been out that way since i was a kid so any really cool roads you know would be appreciated

Madman - grab a paper map and a highlighter and "connect the dots"....

Fredericksberg (lunch? 250 miles)
Comfort
Boene
New Branfels. (Overnight stop? Total from Midland, 350 miles)

Memorial weekend takes me out too, the route Stev-o posted has some pretty country and goods roads.

Well I made it here yesterday and picked up the new bike she needs a paint job but is very mechanically sound ill have pistures soon
