Questions regarding dogs

The dogs are showing wear but on the center side... What does that mean?

And do i need to replace?

engagement wear marks.  experience much popping out of gear or really hard shifts?
replacement?  IIWM, yes.
transmission troubles are the worst, especially if you dont have a frame kit and need to take the engine out...again  ::)
I rode most of the summer without 5th gear.  Sucked.  I'll be pulling the engine in the next few weeks to try and figure it out, for the third time  >:(
Ive heard a lot of good things about the cycle-x back-cut gears.

Bought it in parts .. So dont know how it works...

But if that kind of wear suggest other faults that need correction

how do the mating slots or holes they go into look?if they look ramped or bevelled itll be prone to jumping out of gear.
