750 HYDRO CLUTCH..................pics added
« on: May 21, 2014, 05:51:44 AM »
I know some others have done this, even a dry clutch here an there.  what are you using for a master cylinder and what are you doing with the existing clucth lever and switches in the left hand housing?  I currently have mine mocked up, and am having issues with the darned thing building pressure, currently have lever tied down to handlebar grip.  in a bit of conundrum about what to do about the left hand switch housing..............................the horn/hi-lo beam/blinkers  are in this housing.

will try an get some pics later this afternoon of where i am at with this.

Curious, what are you using for a slave/actuator assy and for bleeding, get yourself a brake system syringe and hook it to the slave cylinder and push the air back thru the master cylinder

the slave cylinder is a vf750 sabre.  the master is a 83 nighthawk cb650sc.  have obtained a clutchless left hand switch.  whole project kinda on hold for moment now, had farm emergency come up.  will get back to it soon i hope.

Remove the slave cylinder and push in the piston. Reinstall and try bleeding again. i have had to do this on my FJ1200 and other hydraulic clutch set ups in the past.
