Dirt!
« on: June 17, 2014, 07:30:35 PM »
New toy for the dirt.

The 915 was picked up today and is off to Miami, then to be exported.  Not sure where its going after that.  Time in the dirt is a great way to keep my mind off what is going to become of the 915.

Of all the bikes I have owned my old 81 ported and tuned Yammie YZ250 has hurt me the most. Cracked ribs, multiple contusions and scrapes and other fun damage. Bought it in 84 and still have it but luckily all the old gravel pits and trails we used to ride have dried up. Not sure if my 'old' bones could take that punishment anymore   :D

As meticulous as you are, I doubt you even know where dirt is! I see a platform for an urban assault street machine lurking under there....  ;)

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of it's victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. Lewis

"Lack of Dirt" is what you should name it, it looks immaculate.

I need to get my Suzi TS250 running to get in the dirt.

Yes- Its a 2014 and this shot was taken prior to the first ride.  I grew up racing dirtbikes and mountainbikes so its great being back in the trails.

I am still very meticulous even with the dirtbikes, its a sickness...
