Bike Covers

Anyone out there have a recommendation for a cover for a 400F? I don't have off-street parking that is viable for every day and need something to keep my bike out of the rain/sun.

EDIT: I am most concerned about finding a properly fitting cover. Most I have seen online have me believing that they will be too large for the 400.

Consider it as an investment and buy the best one you can afford.

...go to u'r local auto parts store and ask them to let you take it outside and try it out for size...most times they will let you...

Before I got my garage, I always used the "Dow Guardian" brand/model cover..  It has a vent to help it not have condensation inside, doesn't leak, and had a silver bottom section that aids in visibility and also will protect the cover against hot pipes.

MAN! I feel like a cheap bastard! 

I've found a large gas grill cover that fits on my 550k quite nicely.  and this time of year, they are even on sale!  Weather resitant vinyl outer, heavy enough that the wind doesn't take it, and felt lined too!

I found a Dowco Guardian WeatherGuard cover at chaparral for $38. I went ahead and ordered that. I thought about the grill cover but with the heat and the amount of rain we get down here in New Orleans I thought I would get something that was designed to not trap moisture against my bike.

a friend of mine has a cycleshell.  it is _solid_, but pretty expensive.  would keep the rain off, and the intruders out though.

Downtown, in da' nint' ward. About 3 blocks from Bud750's shop. Which is very convenient.  ;D

I wouldn't mind making a trip out there one day in a couple of weeks. We should have the bike on the road this weekend but it will need a few decent shakedown rides before I even consider taking it that far.

That looks nifty but I would get lazy about hauling that thing in and out of the house every day. I live in a house similiar to this. As you can see we don't have much in the way of front yard space...

Ehh... The ninth isn't really that bad. It is right on the verge of gentrification. Plus I live in the upper ninth on the river side. But I have a BIG dog, two guns and a wife that would embarass Annie Oakley.  ;)

She was very anti-gun until after the big K. I feel sorry for the sucker that ends up on the wrong side of her piece. Her first time out she put 28 10's and 2 9's into a silohette at 7 yards with the first two magazines she ever fired.
