Picked up the wheels this evening. They look so much better when spinning. The guy that did them for me said the rear was all over the place, which I noticed when Cycle Gear was balancing them. The front has what looks like a low spot, but really isn't. At some point in its life it appears to have smacked a curb and pushed in the outer lip and flared the lips outwards from each other. The inside area where the spokes are is still true. He said that he worked the wheel a bit and got most of the lip back to where it was supposed to be. He also balanced them and there was a dramatic reduction in weights required to get them to balance. I think I am going to be happy with them.
Now to figure out the carb.
