South Coast UK

Hello from Bournemouth
just purchased a Cb550 and stumbled upon this Forum & site looking for info. Think I have found the source all the info I'm ever going to need here  :) The bike was originally going to be a cafe racer project and has already had cafe racer clipons fitted by the previous owner. But after looking at the bike it would be a shame to cut it up as it's in good condition so my decision is to restore it. It is my first vintage honda although I did have a cb1000 big one a few years back .. This cb is definitely a real vintage think I'm going to love it. it has a Marshall exhaust system fitted and I was also given a set of headers (don't know what kind) that appear to be in very good condition.  Was also given  a box of parts including a set of Raask rear sets , original bars and other bits, so maybe I will buy another one to cafe race.
My other bike is a1997 Triumph T595 a totally different machine but I love it all the same.
So now the restoration begins...and look forward to being part of this fabulous forum!
