Serial Number Help
« on: May 29, 2014, 06:59:23 AM »
I am considering buying a '77 CB750.  From everything I have read however, the serial number that the owner sent to me doesn't make sense.  It begins, "CB750E272xxxx".  Thanks for any insight.  Looking forward to joining this user group.

The 1977 K& models begin with the 270xxxx numbers................the E indicates he sent you the motor number............you may want to verify the frame number and date of manufacture from the ID tag on the neck.
