Thorough cleaning
« on: May 29, 2014, 08:35:24 AM »
1974 cb 750 stock set up

My belief is that for the health and well being of these bikes, a thorough cleaning is a good idea. Would one of you knowledgable gents go over your own personal process or one of you guys who buys and sells go over your process to make these bikes look as good as possible.

Do you disassemble, for example,  to wash and wax those hard to reach places? I want my 4 into 4 to last as long as possible-- should I take them off the bike-- wax or treat them in some weird and wonderful way?

Thanks in advance of all replies.

My only advice is to keep the high pressure power washers away. Save it for the deck.
