Look what I found....
« on: May 29, 2014, 12:42:26 PM »
Was at a business for work today and went into the back room and here was this 1973 CB350Four sitting there. 17,000 miles with OEM exhaust. The guy paid $400 for it from a friend a few years ago with title. He has not really got it running yet, but appears it would be an easy fix. Caliper is stuck, tank is very clean. Petcock is open...not sure what the bowls look like. Said the guy had the carbs rebuilt 5 - 10 years ago. The OEM exhaust on the left needs replacement. I offered to give him a hand and help him get it going. I just do not run into these by accident anymore. His buddy repainted it years ago.

Its a good feeling isn't it Johnie and I know it always puts a big ;D on my face when I stumble across one of these old Honda's when I don't expect it. Not a bad looking 350four. Did you make him a offer.

Johnie, in first pic their is another vehicle. I see handle bars and a gas tank. What is this? And in the 3rd shot a nice framed picture of Marilyn Monroe. Just a lot of  stuff sitting around in all the pics. Is this some type of storage/auction sale warehouse.

hall...yes, I forgot to mention the other bike is a 1960's Sears Allstate what appears to be a 50cc with 3,100 miles on it. He found that in the local junk yard and gave the guy $30 for it. He is actually an HVAC guy who got into picking. Lots of neat stuff there.

Hey Johnie - look what I found!

Had to enter a commercial bldg I manage, tenant was not there, opened the door and WOW!

Went back a few days later, he was there and we talked. He bought it from a girl last year for $1500, it need some minor maint but now runs great.
Too bad it doesn't have the original exhaust but doubt he cares.

He also has a '72 Camaro, saw pics, but not in person yet.

Wow that looks nice Stev-o...these things appear to be hidden all over the place. Use to be in barns, now we are finding them in commercial buildings, kitchens and living rooms.

This doesn't belong in 'other bikes.'  Where's a moderator when you need one?
