Show me your 750 F3 oil filter cover!
« on: June 06, 2014, 01:35:36 PM »
I have been searching for an 750 F3 oil filter cover for a while now. The  750 K model does not fit into the grove on the F model base that I have. Honda lists a different part number for it. Anybody have one to compare with the K cover or am I looking for a bat stretcher ;D ;D meaning they are the same with just a different part number. Thanks for any help.

You are correct.  They the F and K filter covers are different.
The fins on the F are longer to fit the notch on the adapter.  The K cover will fit, and only you will know.
You just have to hold it in place while you install the filter bolt.

K cover on F adapter shown.  Notice how K fins dont fit into the F adapter notch

Note: the K filter cover IS A DIRECT FIT to the F lower case if the F adapter plate is omitted
