Steering problem on my 750K
« on: October 08, 2014, 05:55:30 AM »
After a complete rebuild on my 75 750K I have noticed something when pushing it out of the garage. I have to push(back) it out. Once I turn the handle bars to the left or right (full lock) it becomes a pain in the A!s to roll. Rolls great when the straighten back out. I have checked the front wheel again,
spacers in right etc., and steering head. Any idea what could be causing this.

brake line compressing during bar twist, causing the caliper piston to contact the rotor...would be my first guess.
to test this....remove the caliper halves from the caliper arm, and try to roll your bike with the bars turned.

+1 to this, check for a freely floating steel line out of the caliper. An owner not knowing better will tweak them to fit it easier and this will cause binding

Yep -  front brake or front wheel bearings.
