Firing order/Spark Plus question

Hello,
I got a 76 550 and need firing order...which piston is which as you set on bike?
Also have a spark plug question, as I was removing my wires during tear down to hardtail, I pulled the end off of one of the plug wires can I just slide it back on or do I nned to repalce plug or whole cil to fix the problem?

Oopps,
I mean "need to repalce plug or whole coil"

Hi Lee,as you sit on the bike the left piston is #1,#2,#3 and#4 on the right.The plug caps are threaded inside so snip about 1/4" off the wires so you`ll get some fresh copper and screw it back in.
