My clyclex twin carb setup came in today. I'll be taking the next few days to install, will let you know how it goes, and will be taking pictures.

From looking at it here at my work, I can tell you this. Top notch quality.
Throttle cable and throttle assembly seems sufficient, some nice inifilter pods (I didnt go with velocity stacks), and a nice little carb tuning booklet.

More later.

/oh yeah, came with extra pilot jets (different sizes.)
kinda funny to have two choke levers.

Did you get those carbs installed yet?  What do you think?

That carb. setup is a slick one.
If I ever get the itch to tear-down and redo the ENTIRE bike, those will def.
be on my list, along with a 836, extended swingarm,etc... ;D

Havent got them installed yet. They forgot to send the manifold hoses, but those got here yesterday, so hopefully this week I will get them on and see how they do.
Doing this, I have to move all the electronics, so gotta do that as well. Moving light, kill and start buttons to toggle swithes beneath the tank.

I spoke to a guy at a vintage bike swap this weekend who was gonig to put them on a cafe project, but opted for CRs because the cyclex twins put the air filters in the way of his legs. something about them being designed for choppers...Id love to see how they end up on your bike, as they seem like a good idea and tuning 2 carbs seems like roughly 1/2 as big of a pain as 4.  please post pics when you get them on!

How about a single manifold with a S&S Super E carb or something ?
Why tune/maintain two carbs when you can do 1 ?

Very difficult to get even lengths and flow to 4 cylinders in an inline configuration with one carb.
